Artist Statement

I grew up in an artistic family, and so I was encouraged at an early age to draw and paint. I pursed graphic design as a career for many years. Today I work primarily as a fine artist. It has become second nature to express myself through the colors and images I choose. I enjoy creating original art tremendously. I love to work with both bright colors and texture, and my work tends to lean towards the abstract. I want my art to be accessible to people, and I invite you to recreate in your mind what I am trying to convey in my art.
