Artist Statement

I am an artist doing what I love.  I have been painting most of my life.  My work is intensely personal.  I live my art, putting my own personal life experiences, and tastes into each and every piece. I have a strong tendency to use a lot of bright colors to suggest movement.  Every drip and splatter is intentional and a part of the uniqueness integral to all my work.  I feel Color is very emotional and expressive.  When I am able to convey my thoughts, feelings and inspirations visually onto a blank piece, evoking the viewer’s own imagination, I feel I have succeeded in creating a fine, contemporary piece of abstract art.
